Hi Members and Friends

The first official meet for 2011 will be held at Kalk Bay on the 6th February.

The idea is to have a easy / open caving orientation that will be fun for members, friends and newbie's, so please feel free to join.

There will be quite a few leaders in the case of a large group, so that it can be split into smaller groups.

The walk will be approximately an hour till we get to the first cave so please bear in mind that you will need to have some level of fitness, there is quite a bit of an uphill till we reach the first cave. We will spend the majority of the day out in the mountain and participants will need to be self-sufficient and packed / prepared for a day on the mountain.

Please bring: sufficient water, food / snacks, headlamps / spare batteries, old cloths / overalls and a helmet.

We will exit via Boomsang and down Echo Valley. We expect to be down at about 16:00 / 16:30 for the latest.
