C.P.S.S would like to invite you to our monthly social.
 
Date: Tuesday, 16th August 2011

Venue: Stone cottages, Kirstenbosch.
 
We will be showing a Picture DVD of a Swiss & Italian team's expedition earlier this year to Dragon's breath and several other systems around Namibia.
 
One of the CPSS members, Theo van Eeden, was fortunate enough to be part of the expedition.
 
Tea and coffee will be served afterwards.

To welcome in a new year of caving exploration and adventure, the Cape Peninsula Spelaeological Society would like to invite all members, family and friends to the Annual Opening Braai of 2011

The event will kindly be hosted by Alan Butcher, details are as follows:

Members are asked to bring chairs, meat and beverages.
Salads and desert will be supplied by the C.P.S.S

Price: R75 p.p.
 
Menu
STARTER:

Snack platter
Sweet soya meatballs
Chinese smoked salmon pancakes
Humus dip with cream crackers
Vietnamese vegetable spring rolls with chilli dip

MAIN COURSE:

Roast lamb and gammon
Potato and leek bake
Creamed spinach
Cinnamon butternut

DESSERT:

Cape brandy pudding and custard
Fresh fruit salad with vanilla ice cream

Please note: A vegetarian main course will be available (Italian aubergine, feta and tomato bake). Please indicate when booking if you require this option so that we can inform the caterers.

Please bring your own wine etc as there will be no bar.

When booking for the Annual Dinner, please let Ron Zeeman know that you have deposited the money, otherwise he will not know.
